  • It's difficult to control the urge to spend on the baby isn't it :D Even though we know we'll get given loads of clothes whenever we see a babygro or something with a lion on we have to buy it :o I think we bought too much too soon (already got car seat, base, buggy, cot, decorated the nursery etc) basically as soon as we were past the danger zone.

On the other hand, spreading the cost has been good - we've never spent more than we could clear the following month using our salaries (ie no outstanding CC debt so far, no use of savings) At least that's my excuse!

  • aless - thanks! Our absolute fave buy so far were the cutest ever little babygros, one with a male lion and cub, one with a female and cub with 'Daddy's/Mummy's pride and joy' on it. From GAP so really nice quality and totally overpriced :o We were also going to do the nursery safari themed but thought that might be a step too far so went for the underwater theme :D

DH roars at the bump too but yesterday he read that they don't like loud noises so decided to stop - bless!

Most of the lion stuff is allegedly for boys but we don't care - who's to say that girls aren't allowed lol

I saw a program on feotal development that said babies jump in the womb the first time they hear loud noises but then become desensitised to them... So maybe your baby does like it ml ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
