I would choose Deep Pan Pizza over Pizza Hut any day, slighlty more expensive (£5.99) I think, and I cant remember the prices of the drinks, and they aren't refillable but the pizza is nicer, and I like having Oranges and Melons and other fruit in with the salad table, insted of yesturdays lettuce and a few green tomatos as Pizza Hut provides

The one on Oxford Street is matched to £3.99 now. Now sure if the quality is lowered to match it too.

Also agree about the Pizza hut buffet having poor choice, not wanting to stereotype but there always seems to be a group of 2 or 3 hugely obese single mums plus obnoxious kids that every time a new pizza is put out they jump up and grab as much as they can leaving some obscure naff one left.
and you know they are single mums HOW?

Im a single mum so to speak and yes i take my daughter to pizza hut now and again but i didnt realise i had sad single mum tattooed on my head.. .. and as a single mum i find this kind of deal a way of treating my daughter without being bankrupt.

Thanks for the tip Martin, re Dominos Pizza. New place has just opened in town and I got a flyer in the mail the other day with loads of offers on it so I'll maybe stick the slow cooker in the cupboard for one day and have pizza instead, using my vouchers I got. Only have takeout once in a blue moon so... Cheers. Got any recommendations on crusts/toppings etc, anyone?

I like Domino's too, but Martin'stotally wrong about the garlic and onion dip - the three chilli dip wins hands down. Splash out and try both if you must!

I long for three chilli dip - haven't had Domino's since I left London :(

  • We last had Pizza Hut's pizza & salad buffet at Lakeside, Thurrock at the beginning of this month. It was better than our local hut. They had a constant supply of pizza, and interesting ones too. We had meat feast, thin base margareta, mushroom and sweetcorn (which was a "manager's special", veggie hot one, normal veggei, cheese & tomato. The pizza and salad was fresh. Our local only does the 3 basic pizzas. I of course ordered tap water and didn't eat my crusts (a little neat pile on a spare napkin, what would my mother say!).
Nuts just take up space where chocolate ought to be.
  • You need to eat the crusts or you will never be full !!

My friends always seem to leave their crusts and have 8 or 9 slices of pizza, but I eat mine and find I can (so long as the supply keeps coming) usually manage around 15 or 16 before being dragged back to the office.

I'm really suprised at how many negative comments are on this thread, I've always found Pizza Hut buffet to be good. I'm veggie and have never had a problem. I am always offered free refils on my soft drink, the kids are given balloons and goodie bags etc.I guess it depends where you go.
Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!

they wont let you do this on the buffet deal.. if you dont eat it there you dont get to take it home otherwise loads of people would be filling there plate up and asking for a takeaway box
