Yes. The first book talks about the time when his mother was abusing him. The second about how he coped in foster care and his life throughout his teenager years and the final about his life as an adult.

Might not be everyones read, but certainly hits the heart.
Oooh. I can't read book like that I'm afraid.

I have just finished reading The Reader which was excellent.

These are the first set of books that I've read since I was about 12. I've never been a reading person, but over the last few months, I'm not quite sure what happened to me.

I used to be a typical 18 year old going out with friends drinking, being silly and stupid and not caring. Then I got a part-time job and everything just changed. I'm quite happy spending my nights reading a book and chilling in front of the TV then going out and getting rat-assed now.

I think I'm being an anti-social hobit. :rotfl:

Never pay to open a bank account when you can get a perfectly good basic account. The £49 is for them to apply on your behalf.

But if they can open an account with cheque book rather than my basic bank account then l will think about it , because l only have coop cashminder account.

They don't issue the cheque book or give you the account. They apply with banks the same way you do and with the same information you have. Paying the £49 does not give you an edge.

I like going out to the pub now and then but I can't be arsed with getting sloshed every weekend and waking up the next morning with tinnitus.

Try lloyds TSB cash account because it comes with a visa debit and nobody takes cheques anymore.
