I've just spent the last 3 hours reading a book called 'The Lost Boy' by Dave Pelzer. It's such a great book and I'd recommend anyone reading it who hasn't.

It's the middle book in the series I believe, the first being 'A Child Called It' and the final being 'A Man Named Dave'.

I've still got to read the final book, but I'm definitely hooked.

I'm tempted to book a flight to Dusseldorf for a few days. My friend was there in his youth and really liked it.

Yes. The first book talks about the time when his mother was abusing him. The second about how he coped in foster care and his life throughout his teenager years and the final about his life as an adult.

Might not be everyones read, but certainly hits the heart.
