Be careful with that Abbey lark - opening a new account means you're a new customer with that date so will have to wait 6mths from that date to upgrade card. They talk shat remember so just be careful..... worse case scenario you could spend £100 that you don't really have lol

Hopefully it'll stop 100 people a day asking the same old question! It probably won't but at least it's a single reference point instead of them being scattered throughout sutton default thread and others!

yes mate
to sum it up.
she had 6700 left to pay on a debt from over six years ago.
she was glady paying, with bad harassment.
they went to far.
you just saved her 6700
cheers.
for all the people who want to moan about how she borrowed it an should pay etc etc,she payed from first day of default, for years.
the moral is.even if you are paying the only way to stop the harrasment is to cancell the debt.
in this case the dca are the ones who caused the debt to be cancelled.
greed and not unwillingness to pay.
forgot to say.they never sent back original agreement or terms, they wont find them.they cashed the £1.00 cheque though and used to pay account.that sums up dca scum and why alot of people go for unenforcebility and not because they just dont want to pay.littlewoods/littlewoods direct/marshall ward/kays/greatuniversal/empire stores/addittions/grattans/next/ambrose wilson.barclay card/cap1/bos/vanquis gold/vodafone/3 .dell finance/currys finance

LOL Older? Whatever gave you that impression. No, quite young infact... if you consider early 20's young.
I don't think I'm going to apply for another card - just yet. I'll give my credit file a break; get rid of some of those searches. I'll probably apply once I've closed my Kays account. We’ve had to remove your signature.
