I applied with Lloyds last week. Got offered either a Classic or Silver account after they had done a credit check. I chose the Classis as it's free. No overdraft though. They said ring back in 3 months for an overdraft as they want to see some money go into the account.
I wonder if you'll get a cheque guarantee Effect.0 -
Ah Coutts, I forgot you were posh Mr Simply B. :rotfl::rotfl:
I have even started to use the quick pay envelopes in branch to avoid queueing up with the COMMON people or peasants :rotfl::rotfl:Natwest gold..Limit £1750 bal £970..Vanquis Limit £3000 bal £0..Littlewoods..Limit £1200 bal 0..Additions direct..Limit £4900 bal £1356..Empire Limit £6200 bal £152..Jd williams..Limit £1100 bal £130..Simplybe..Limit £1500 bal 265,,Fashion world..Limit £1400 bal £145 Jacamo..Limit£125 bal 0

Is it better to use my high interest cards and pay in full each month? Does it look better for lenders? Got the 2 cards below as always use my works visa0

I know, I want a HSBC Plus account or an Halifax Ultimate reward account.
I'm getting annoyed with Abbey's appalling customer service. Furthermore I want a multifunction card. :mad:
Applied for Abbey myself last year, got accepted online then a few days later an E-mail to say, only basic account can be offered.
Rang them up to accept in hope of getting more brownie points on credit file, advisor assured me everything would be with me in 5 days, 8 months later I'm still waiting :mad:Natwest gold..Limit £1750 bal £970..Vanquis Limit £3000 bal £0..Littlewoods..Limit £1200 bal 0..Additions direct..Limit £4900 bal £1356..Empire Limit £6200 bal £152..Jd williams..Limit £1100 bal £130..Simplybe..Limit £1500 bal 265,,Fashion world..Limit £1400 bal £145 Jacamo..Limit£125 bal 0

Do you get a silver card instead of the green monstrosity when you upgrade to silver from classic with tsb?0

I keep looking at Barclays Premier, £25 per month though which pus me off slightly.

That sums Abbey up. Totally and utterly hopeless.
Innocent has the Barclays Premier account, he loves it.0
