    Still wouldn't do well in the SOS club. Just applied for MBNA classic card. Got the we'll tell you to sod off probably in 7-10 days message

    Time to get on the phone to Halifax and find out why they declined me.

    Halifax said they don't give reasons for declined applications, however it would have been due to the information they got from the CRA. They said we don't decline for reasons such as income etc, so it's only the information from the CRA that they have to go on. They said I can reapply at any time, but recommend waiting 4 weeks. (I'm not reapplying).

    Odd how I can't get a current account, but get 3 credit cards, littlewoods, hsbc plus and Lloyds Silver.
