Hi Guys
Sorry to hijack but hope some of you specialists can help.
I would like to apply for a LittleWoods catalogue but:
*I plan to apply for a mortgages within the next month or so
*I have 2 late payments on my Orange account (only these, no other defaults etc) - this only shows up on Equifax, not Experian.
*I have Capital One CC (had it for only 2 months)
*I have overdraft with my bank and some other agreements like Vodafone (over a year now, no late payments) etc. Have been registered on Electoral for almost a year.
*I have a fair number of searches showing up as 2 in April, one in March and one in Feb 2009 and some others in 2007 and 2008.
I usually get refused credit cards, is it worth applying?
Many thanks for any advice!0 -

yes you should have no problems being accepted.they should give you a healthy limit.

If they do reject you though (like they do quite often with me) try the JD williams group. They accepted me with a £100 limit and it's now £900 and I have a credit card thanks to them too!0

I no longer have a Littlewoods catalogue, but when i applied about 4 years ago, i had 2 defaults, many late payments and a basic bank account with no o/d. You're searches going back to 2007 won't have any affect on your current credit file status.
Good luck.0 -

Hi Dave,
Out of curiousity which credit card did you get with the help of JD Williams? and how long did you have to wait before applying?
Thanks:eek: Debts: Capitalone £0, Vanquis £220, LX Direct £1197, Mutual £1107, JD Williams £23 :eek:0
