07045 Scam
Recently on 20th April I received one of those scam emails and it contained a 07045 number.
Purely out of curiousity I rang that number for less than a few seconds (whilst witholding my own number). The number was indeed live and I heard a voice - I ended call without saying a word - Me Bad.
No I was not bad but when I got my o2 bill today - it shows an incredible 4p charged for 5 seconds call to this number.
I googled to find that these 07045 numbers are some premium scam (through BT or something).
So as a warning to others - beware of these numbers - I never heard of these before, complained to o2 to remind them to deal with these numbers.

070 numbers are personal numbers and can cost up to £1.50 per minute.

Lessons to be learnt from this post.
Firstly, never call any prefix numbers that are not part of your plan, as they will always incur higher call charges.
Secondly, never return a call to an unknown number. If the call is important they will call again.0 -
