Whats the best phone on the 3 Network?
Options
I've about 14 months left on my current £9 a month contract. I sold the Nokia handset that came with the contract and am using my 3 or 4 year old sony ericsson, which is now on its last legs.
Anyone got any tips on the best phones available to buy on 3 (Im looking for just the handset, dont want a new contract etc).
I take it the iphone cannot be used on the 3 network? Thats the kind of phone Im after or a blackberry.
Anyone any advice?

You can use any phone on the 3 network as long as its 3G enabled, so you're not restricted to just the phones they sell on their website. Although I read another MSE'er spoke to CS and managed to get a reconditioned E71 for £117, which is extremely good. I will be getting the 5800XM myself and will probably use 3 on PAYG. Don't really fancy another long term contract at the moment.0

Nokia E71. You will be hard pressed to find a bad review anywhere.0

I have always used Sony Erricson but the salesman at 3 talked me into the Nokia E71 about 3 weeks ago. I love it with the qwerty keyboard. It is similar to a Blackberry. They have a good offer at the moment where you get the phone for free as it is £300 to buy on the Nokia site. £20 a month unlimited texts, unlimited 3 -3 calls, unlimited internet, and 200 minutes.Wendy0

Nokia E71 is good as people have said, but also consider LG Renoir, which is a touchscreen, so more like the iPhone.0

I love my E71. I am considering kicking OH out of bed and sleeping with mine.
Ok. Not really - but I do love it!0 -
There are so many people sitting in the fence about the E71, make your minds up!
