Can you imagine, World war 3 will break out if you suggest a voucher grabbit thread, go on dare ya!!!!
I was waiting for it to slip onto page 2 earlier and was going to nudge it back up;)
I am physically shaking at the thought! Those voucher peeps can be pretty scary at times(she says hiding for cover), I mean they don't even post links!
Actually Nikki I think you'd be the perfect person to start the thread, you are well respected on grabbit and voucher boards?GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

The voucher peeps may be scary, but they are right not to post links to online vouchers or voucher codes themselves. We need to just post a link to the coupon threads where readers can find them. Martin has posted, in a sticky at the top of the Grabbit board:
Warning!! Must Read!!! Important!!! Please do not post codes on Grabbit.
There has been a growth of Online Discount Vouchers or Codes being posted on the Grabbit Board. This is not the place for them.
Any online discount vouchers must be posted on the Online Discount Voucher board. They must also comply with the rules there - only this way are people protected from law suits and breaching terms and conditions.
I am sorry to be draconian, but having once had the might of Sainsbury legal department threaten this site because of these i need to protect the site. Having a specific board where the rules are prominently posted is how i do that.
If people continue to post online discount vouchers here, they will be removed and though i hate to do it, any persistent posters will have their access blocked from the site.

Don't know if this would be of interest to anyone, but just bought this mag for my son - priced at £2.60 but scanned at 1p.
Cashier commented but I just said what a bargain and stuffed it in the bag.
Its the Strike-It mag dated 14 sept - 11 Oct
Also, I noticed a sign on the way in saying due to a problem with their system some offers were scanning incorrectly and Customer Services would offer a refund but not Double the Difference0 -

I wish T's in Scotland were as nice as the ones down south sound- every time I've been overcharged here I've had all the excuses in the book not to be given DTD, most of them obviously false. And I've always had to have a duty or senior manager come over, endure a 40min wait and listen to the same nonsensical arguments repeated to me.
I've only tried to get DTD 4 times so far (2 OOD SEL's, 2 'misprices', but each time bar one had to to contact Head Office to sort it. Almost doesn't seem worth the hassle.
Even worse, my local is really on the ball and never has any of the glitches, or if it does, the shelves are empty!
Btw, CS recently told me DTD doesn't apply for a 'misprice'...has anyone else had this? As far as I'm concerned, if the price on the shelf is different to what you were charged, it's DTD, misprice or not...besides, what are they not obliged to sell at the price marked?0 -

I wasn't slapping your wrist specifically celebrate, and you can come out after your age in minutes :P.;)
It's just that Martin was threatened with legal action after grabbits were posted along with voucher codes or links and some recent posters seem think that the vouchers are kept "secret" for some silly frivolous reason and so go ahead and post them in grabbit. It's probably just making more work for the board guides and admin team and so if it makes them too much work then we'll see threads getting deleted which no-one wants. It was just a friendly reminder to all who post here to abide by the site rules (and to read the stickies).

I know I'm being thick here and I apologize in advance but I don't understand what the difference is between a link to a voucher being on a grabbit thread or on the voucher thread, is it to make sure peeps read the rules on the voucher thread first? ( not sure how many in reality do)GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

I think it's so it isn't all laid out on a plate for just anyone to google an item click here and find both where to buy it and the voucher. (just my theory).
If the vouchers are kept seperate from the grabbit then it's not "encouraging" you use the voucher if you have to search for it. At least that's the reasons I used to see bandied around years ago. I imagine the voucher rules might also come into it.

Actually most of the voucher board are lovely, but when I got cross today and yesterday about all the bickering on the grabbit board it was because I was sent a pm by a "stray" coupon policeman telling me how silly I was and that coupons should never be posted on the grabbit board. I answered his pm with the fact that I'd read the rules and their was no rule saying you couldnt discuss vouchers on the grabbit board and I was aware of not posting links and was he aware that it was also against the rules to request codes and pdf vouchers via pm.;) which does go on all the time but he never answered me back. But that is a one "stray" coupon policeman as I said the rest are lovely and really helpful;) Bet I'm in trouble now:rotfl::rotfl:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
