oh i was at the CS desk returning my 12 packets of batteries today
(glitch didn't work in that store, multibuy actually kicked in!) and 2 trouts (just finishing shift) came up and demanded an overcharge on a pack of highlighters that had gone through for £4 but SEL £2

CS assistant couldn't get a word in, she told them sel was for a different item and barcode didn't match, they wouldn't listen at all-she ended up giving the overcharge-so it's not just us "at it" :rotfl:

I also got overcharged on some girls tights in same store I got DTD on the phones (tesco navy tights 3 pack) Stickers for £4 but packet said £5 scanned at £5, trout disputed it and said someone's just stuck label on. When I said I would go and fetch more packs with same labels she got stroppy and said "well i'm only giving you the difference". I didn't fuss because I was about to smack her with the phone DTD which I did -VERY SATISFYING!!!:rotfl:

Well, its not a grabbit, and it's not gone yet, but I thought I would mention it. I just bought a pack of Tesco Value Cooking bacon and was very impressed.

It says on the pack you might get smoked or unsmoked bacon, so it is a bit random, and you have to pick through to get a good pack, but for £1, I just had a load of rind off middle (1/2 back 1/2 streaky joined up) and must have had close to 20 rashers of each, yes a bit thin cut, but got so much not too bothered.

I'm normally quite fussy about meat and where it comes from, but half the bacon anyone sells comes from overseas where farming is not so hot, so unless your spending a small fortune on it, I don;t htink it makes much difference.

Anyways, point of the thread is to have a look, you might be surprised whats inside the not so glam pack. I'm well chuffed with it.

Oh, and I got some tesco clicky pens for 16p for a pack of 10, mixed blue black and red.

I have been using this bacon for quite a while now.
Some of the packs have some very thick slices in which are great done in the oven as bacon chops, but are best soaked in cold water for a while to get rid of some of the saltiness.
Down side is, these packs were only 75p a week ago and then jumped in price to £1.:(

I got one today and I'm very impressed with it. That have bigger ones but are full price at £24. The £10 one suited me fine as it fits in my wardrobe perfectly. :)

Small bit of cash back if you opt for click n collect through Quidco.
