Just a quick note - yeast is FREE @ Mr T.

Look on earlier Threads for a bit of trouble a few mths back when some stores tried to start charging...I spoke to HO.
Yeast cannot be charged for...v.v. helpful for we who make bread[little hands and no machine, moi. It's cathartic, v.good for soul.]

Could you please enlighten me on what yeast is free and why it cant be charged for?:)

Just bagged BT Freelance XB2500 duo cordless phone with answer machine.. OOD SEL (yesterday) for 39.99, went through at 89.99, therefore 50 overcharged. Had to ask for DTD, manager called and said to me "do you want DTD?" Yep i said and he said "ok"! So 100 quid back.

Free phone and 10 quid profit.

Also jelly did not work (3 for a pound) with no added sugar strawberry so free jelly!

i got an accidental DTD today is Bur5led0n, s0t0n, winnie the pooh backpack. RTC £1.25 but scans at £2.50, i had originally bought 4 anyway but went through self serve then decided against paying for them there as i think you can't get DTD from a self scan so went back and got another 2 then paid at normal till. These are RRP £10 each so got £60 of backpacks for free. CS didn't look too impressed although she didn't even go and check the SEL. they had hundreds of these encase anyone else local would like a free backpack or 5

Today I got DTD on Ibco plain paratha 400g. SEL said BOGOF whereas the discount did not come off at the till. HTH someone.

From reading some comments on the Jelly thread, it would seem some stores have gone the other way and instead of giving two 3 for £1 discounts, they're not giving any so the same net result - DTD of £1.01 x 2.
