    Hi,

I picked up 4 Sony ipod/iphone docks today. SEL = 49.97 and got charged 69.97.

CS refunded £160 back onto cc, is this right?

P.S no docks left as I saw 2 of my neighbours and informed them as they took the rest.....

Yes that's right 4 x £20 overcharge doubled = £160, you ended up paying £29.97 per dock, that would have still been too expensive for me :rotfl:

That's the one I got yesterday but I used a £5 off £50 coupon so net price £24.97 for me. Also used a triple cc point till spit so even cheaper!

Lots of these on the yellow sel in s'h1ll b@ng0r today but didn't price check. Sounds like a nationwide glitch though.

My dumb brain thought it would have been £20 when at store but realised when I got home they would be as you say £29.97.

Would I get £49.97 each if I was to go and refund them?

I've always been told I'd be unable to return any item I've got DTD on unless it's faulty. Seems fair enough to me. Otherwise you'd return them and end up £20 up on each one.

As an aside, does anyone think that going in to a 24hr store at 0005 and claiming a DTD on an item that has just had it's SEL go out of date 5 minutes ago would be acceptable?

I only happened to call on my way from Oswestry to see if the jelly worked there... only to find these little beauty's on the shelf.. needless to say, they looked soooo lonely there on their own, I felt sooooooooo sorry for them, I decided to bring them home, and give them a loveing home... I dont like seeing homeless item's hanging about :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I would say that's perfectly acceptable;) but, I think people have had problems getting the DTD sorted as some CS desks close and I think the duty manager has to deal with it, but I'm sure some one will correct me if I'm wrong:)And i seem to remember that the prices don't change at midnight it's more like 2-3 am. I could be totally wrong but I remember this being brought up before.
