OOD SEL but 3 for 2 on disposable cutlery (£2 each) definitely doesn work anymore. Meant 24 sets of cutlery for £2 which is great for my upcoming party0

Thought I was onto a winner in Mr T's earlier, they had the Youngs Jumbo Prawns all stickered for half price again at £3 and the SEL was £6, but alas they went through at £3 *doh* thankfully I only got one pack! A little treat for OH tonight, I'm sure he'll be grateful! I would have much preferred free prawns mind you...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Us DTDers come from all walks of life, and we all have different ways of justifying our Tesco misprice actions... it might be "consumer revenge" on the big supermarkets, seemingly in your case, or seeing it as "fair game" to legally take advantage of a policy that was dreamt up by the marketing department specifically to increase consumer confidence (correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall this was Martin's take on the original R'n'R policy), or it might be a sense of "the greater good" that Robstersgirl posted about on the other thread, or any number of things. Regardless, if someone is going to hold a "moral" position for or against DTD (or immigration, homosexuality etc), I expect them to be willing and able to justify it and discuss it rationally, not just to sit back and state that opinion as some kind of obvious absolute truth.
Perhaps I'm just ratty cause I'm 8000 miles away from the nearest Mr T GlitchElite 5:2 #54 12/13 lbs (18 Jan) 1st Target :j0 -

Oh, don't get me started.
I am not just on a mission because of Tesco's horrible march to obliterate the High Street.
I HATE overcharges, I believe it is criminal and it should be clamped down on heavily. I have been with my Mrs just over a year now and she never checked her receipts, she is amazed by how many errors I pick up and they are never in my favour. I usually shop at Sainsburys so have to make do with an apology and a small refund.
The worst I have ever had was a woman at Asda telling me I was wrong, she had sent someone to check the SEL and they looked at the wrong one. When I proved I was right she did not even apologise and she gave me my money that was rightfully mine. I even had to ask for my £2 voucher, which was the scheme running at that time for overcharges.
Overcharging abuses the trusting shopper and people who are not very numerate. These shops make billions, they should not be allowed to top it all up with overcharges.
If I accidentally walked out of a shop with a pack of chewing gum unpaid for, they will charge me and send me to court.
If they overcharge me by £10, I receive an apology.
So, Imposter, I hate overcharges for many reasons, my hate is layered :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And when Tesco admitted they could not control overcharging and abolished the old system (R&R?) I thought it was a disgrace. Because it was.S!!!!horpe0 -
I vote we forget the trolls, let them be bitter on their own thread, we should get on with the way it was before, and start finding those bargains!
Any new ones to report?
