Crikey - that was the most attention that this thread has seen for months!

I remember the good old days, when we'd have at least 2-3 pages of mis-prices per day.
Is Mr T getting better, or is it that our bargain spotting eyes are starting to decline?
    More bargain opportunities please!

I can't be bothered to queue at CS anymore when I get overcharged by a penny or two.

Was worth it when I got a free iron, but not for 4p return!

I'll let you find the next one-I've just done 2 in the past fortnight (but think they've got lost in the chat)

    Surely a mis-price

Last night looking at shaving blades.

I think they were Gilette Exel, or Excel 3, marked up as a pack of 4 for £3.18.

    A pack of 8 was over £10.

I can clearly do the maths..

    2x 4's = 8, therefore £6.36
    1x 8 = 8, therefore £10 odd

I thought this was the tesco misprice thread....................

Loads of threads all saying a variety of things that could be said somewhere else, but not a recent misprice anywhere.........

If you took a little more time to read the thread heading you would notice the inclusion of the word discussion in the title.

While at CS somebody was getting DTD back on 3 bottles of red wine, which didnt go through on the 3 for £10.00 offer, one of them was malbec but couldn't see the others although i am sure they were red. Looking on tesco.com it doesn/t appear that malbec is on the 3 for £10.00 offer, so worth checking the SEL's to see if this is a mistake.

The picture is as flawed as your arguements, frogs eat flies they don't attract them or has someone had a 5hit behind the sofa?

And said title is devoid of any punctuation, which leads me (and others) to think that any "discussion" is about misprices, rather than all things Tesco.

And for what it's worth Morrison is the king of mispricing & misleading, not Mr T. IMHO.
  • Brilliant, I haven't learnt about any cheap stuff in Tesco I might require but I have had a jolly good giggle :-) Thanks

Ben it isn't worth it, their grasp of consumer law is so poor that it would take far more time than we would want to waste for them to understand.

I was overcharged last week in my local store they had a ticket up for '2 homemade sirloin steak burgers' £1.50 and I was charged £2 each. Which obviously meant I should receive 2 x £1 dtd, CS gave me £1 and I queried it. She said that it was a different product to the SEL and I wouldn't get dtd because it was human error due to someone putting the wrong ticket there. When she showed me the SEL the weight was different by a few gms, even though the title of the product exactly matched the title of the product on the box. I asked to see the product that the SEL matched then and lo and behold there wasn't one, I told her that as a customer I expect to choose a product based on the price they display in front of it and not to have to examine the product and compare to the small print on the ticket.

I asked to see a manager and complained, a manager did arrive, he looked at the ticket and the product and agreed with me.

I am fed up of the little hitlers on the CS deals making up ridiculous reasons for not following their companies policy even though it is displayed clearly on a big board behind them.
