"Admins it would be better to make this an invite only private group, won't show up on google and friends won't see it in your news feed either"
I have just left the group as my suggestion above would be better, as it is an open group anyone googling Tesco or DTD would have access to it.

  • just got back from mr t's with 3 denby pasta bowls, last 3 on shelf with a sel of 6/8/11. no scanner to check so braved it, found a young lad, bowls scanned at £8.50 each instead of £4.25!!!

went to customer services, said i think i have been overcharged, she went to check and came back saying yes you have. no hassle or arguements, when she gave me £25.50 back i asked why it was that much (just so she wouldnt think i had been on mse!) and she said its because we give you dtd! what a lovely lady! :T

This was one of the most live and kicking threads on Grabbit let's all work to get it reinstated to it's rightful place on the Grabbit board.
Seems odd that yesterday a member of Tesco price team
from HO posts and today we're moved............

Sorry i wont be joining the facebook group. I am a moneysaver and will continue to be right here.

I will continue to post my dtd finds here.

And I admire you for that. I'm 50:50 as to what to do as I'm fed up with people expecting to come on here, read our reports, take advantage and not contribute. What's even worse are those who are actually members who then give off at a bit of chat. That kind of selfishness makes me debate whether to spoon feed trolls any more or whether to keep my finds to myself (and a select few I know & like on here).

I didn't join this site to take advantage of others hard work and not contribute but the last few weeks of whinging and distasteful comments have made me almost regret joining. Lurking is so much easier :(

I am not bothered about us being moved here... What difference does it really make? If you want to find us you will! ;)

Re the facebook group: if I can't be anonymous and everyone(ie. trouts) can see it then I am not in :(

I don't want to raise my profile even more and alert the stores in my area I am out there and do what I do! ;)

I am quite happy so far with this forum and our finds are actually so good I don't know if it would get better on fb...

Oh, can't wait to go on dtd hunt(this weekend maybe?)! But so busy now... :(

I speak as someone who could be considered a lurker.

I read this thread regularly and greatly appreciate the efforts of those who post their finds. My only success so far has been a lovely knife block and I'm quite sure I would never have looked at it had it not been mentioned here so many thanks to the OP.

I would be delighted to contribute to this thread and will do so willingly when the opportunity arises but so far, all the ood sel I have found have still scanned at the reduced price so have been of no use.

To all those who post here and feel unappreciated please know that I am grateful and I'm sure there are others like me who feel the same.

if it scans at the higher price at the till then yes it will qualify BUT it's still far too expensive! :p I don't pay more then a few quid for things like that those days... :rotfl:

Yes it would be a DTD of £8.02 if it went through at the higher price.
Meaning you pay £10.95 for it :)
