Yes it would be a DTD of £8.02 if it went through at the higher price.
Meaning you pay £10.95 for it :)

    Almost but not quite.

DTD is indeed £8.02 but you took it off the lower price, not the price paid so it would actually be £14.96. Far far far too expensive :rotfl:

just got back from mr t's with 3 denby pasta bowls, last 3 on shelf with a sel of 6/8/11. no scanner to check so braved it, found a young lad, bowls scanned at £8.50 each instead of £4.25!!!

Glad you got those! I bought them a week or so back and was told that the SEL was for a smaller bowl. This was complete rubbish, but I didn't argue... not worth it over a bowl ;)

there are shop&scan stores aren't there?

I've been to one last weekend(Amersham) but didn't bother with the scanner as I was on a look out for vax/karcher with my bf waiting in the car with a huge hangover so I didn't want to push my luck; however he was ok when I came back with a set of phones as golden dtd from a different store after spending half an hour there(which makes over 200GBP/hour so he couldn't be mad... LOL)

I don't know how long you have been using the DTD policy but I started when it was R&R quite a few years back.

Back then people who were deemed to be 'abusing the policy' were banned from stores and in one case I remember Tesco withdrew the club card and all the accumulated points.

Your choice, but I'd rather keep a low profile :D

This Facebook idea seems similar to the private Boots group someone set up a few years ago when there was a problem with !!!!!iness about Boots Glitches. Much better to post on here and nobody really knows who you are and neither do Tesco.

I also could be classed as a lurker, I long to find a really good DTD or misprice so I can share it with everyone, all the Tescos in my area must be really on the ball, the only thing I have ever found is the mispriced sweetcorn a couple of months ago. I am constantly on the lookout for DTDs but have had no luck so far. I am plucking up courage to occasionally use the self scanners to check stuff out and I was quite proud of myself when last week I was overcharged for an item in Asda, (it was already reduced anyway) and I asked for the £2.00 gift card and stood my ground until I got it!! a few months ago I never even knew about DTD so I would like to thank everyone on this thread for all their finds etc and long may this thread reign!!! wherever it may be

Just back from local Tesco and I saw the big Sirloin Steak banner as I drove into the car park. Went and checked the fresh pre-packed beef, and deffo no sign of half price sirloin. All there seems to be is pre-packed sirloin at £15.97 per kilo (which I assume is the one that is supposed to be half price?).

Didn't have the guts to buy it and demand DTD but wonder whether anyone else has been braver and actually got DTD on this? TIA. x
