so i want 36 on sel but charged 76???????????????????????

    That's the one.

Well I may not have gotten any DTDs tonight but boy did I get some bargains.

    £2.97 - HP Espresso 16" Laptop Sleeve
    £15 - Lego Midi Scale Star Destroyer (8099) - £35 on Amazon
74p - Hot Wheels Colour Shifters Creature Cars
£1 - Lego Atlantis Monster Crab Clash (8056)
    £1.75 - Lego Atlantis Wreck Raider (8057)
    £4.75 - Lego Construct-A-Zurg (7591)
    £7.50 - Lego Construct-A-Buzz (7592)
£3.50 - Lego Hero Factory Rotor (7162) - This is £30+ on Amazon!!
    85p - Ben10 Scribble Set (small notepad, pencils & sharpener I think)
49p - Floor Puzzle (can't remember the details but seemed to be a big jigsaw)
    £9.97 - Toy Story 3 Woody & Bullseye

These bargains may be local but worth keeping an eye out as they seem to be replacing the Atlantis Lego stock with a new range whose name I've forgotten.

Those were the SEL prices though I thought the Hero Factory Rotor was meant to be £6 yet scanned at £3.50. I was humming & haaing about getting this one as the price made me think it was just an accessory set and not a figure but I thought I'd check once home and get a refund if it wasn't what I was after.

My local is the other side of the Irish Sea. Don't want to be too detailed in case anyone from that store is reading.
  • The other side of the irish sea is good enough for me! definetly not local to me then!:rotfl:

Don't know if you're new here, but most seem to agree Tesco do a good job with their pricing. In an old role I took calls on the Retail Ombudsman Feedback Line, and we had nothing but praise!

I asolutely agree with you - Tesco do a SUPERB job with their pricing and I think all you price integrity people should get a big bonus for all the excellent work that you have been doing. Oh, and thank you very much - I really did need a new phone yesterday but I didn't expect Tesco to give it to me for nothing (and also pay for all the rest of my shopping as well). I enjoyed the lemon meringue pies as well - I can't really understand why Tesco thought they were such rubbish that they had to pay customers to take them away.

Yes I'm glad you acknowledge we're doing a good job.
Obviously can't please all but its quite clear we're on the ball in the main.
Unfortunately some people seem to blame us when they buy products at the wrong time!! Not our fault we can't always match the labels!

Still, if we're right 99.9% time, the odd 50p here or there doesn't matter.
I don't quite get your point on the phone though?
Likewise not sure why you mention meringues?
Lets not get off topic though, lets keep this thread about the good job Tesco do
    You take care now!

Careful now or we'll all be getting told off for discussing stuff and not listing DTDs for every Tom, Richard & Harry to go and grab.

So are we in the Gone section because the lazy folk have created a new DTD thread? Let me go check. If I'm not back in 10 mins presume I've given up looking and gone to bed :rotfl:
