Can someone please confirm that DTD is a current policy in Tesco (8 Aug 2011).
I was overcharged £2 on a Tshirt and was given a refund of £2. Should I be asking for another £2?

I'm also new to this and would like to know.

Had lost all hope of finding these but on a visit to Perth I saw a box on the top shelf ehich had the Half price sticker on it. Heart thumping I put it in with my shop and hey presto £30 charged. Customer service very good and said as it was there error I was entitled to double the difference back so £30 refunded.

    Brilliant!
  • Had a fantastic shop just now! Got £35.01p worth of shopping for £6.22p!!!

    I bought:

    1x Womens linen trousers - £7
    1x Womens black trousers -£8
    3x Summer shorts -£2 each
    1x Womens sandels - £5
    1x Slim fast bar - 37p
    1x Blue Diamonds Nuts - £1.99
    3x Bodyform Micro liners - £1.55 each
    1X 4pk foodsavers £2

Got a £5 off £25 or more spend on clothing in store voucher, which I found whilst shopping. Had a coupon for the Blue Diamond nuts. Also used my club card vouchers £18.50. THEN, I noticed my very first DTD....the Bodyform liners were on a OOD SEL of £1. So got £3.30 back for those!!!

The barcode for the Bodyform is: 7310791287508

    I'm sooooo happy today!!

    HTH =)

    Hi everyone,
    nice story, might try it!

i think i've lost my nerve in my locals-they know me too well now, I have seen a BT 2 set phone this morning with an OOD sel and yesterday saw the denby's with the reduced sel but was the same CS assistant and manager that served me before with a DTD

missed out on the denby as went back today and sel been changed
the BT phone I got last time was the same but 3 handsets, gave it to my parents who thought it was really tacky and were shocked it was on sale for £109, not sure if i can be bothered with the hassle for a naff phone:(

    ps belated happy birthday nikkilala:j

The phones are naff?? I spent four hours today trawling all my local stores for some... nothing at all :-( I think its time to give up now as I'm having no luck.
I did get some hankies for 1p though so I guess that cancels out all the petrol money I spent! :rotfl:
  • What a great day 2 Denby dinner sets Sel £38 oh dear went through £76 each
customer srevices said na they £76 each sorry no DTD
said to the nice young lady come with me and found sel £38, she tried to tell me its an old offer and told me it did not count but she would reduce them to £38 each lucky me I said

Then after she thought she got one over me I asked for her manager to sort something out. Whats that she said which I replied the DTD of £152

She then asked for my points back LOL which I refused she went right trouty telling her ok I will email phillip which turned super miss trout to nice young lady and have a nice day
If you dont like the answer why ask the question:D
  • OH my god, oh dear, gosh LOL Cha ching

i know, it can be frustrating not to find anyting but keep trying, one day they'll slip up and you'll get your DTD

i think the phones are still on offer-even though sel says expired on 7th(scanner broke in my store now grrr!!), glad you prompted me to look them up, i shall not lose any sleep now!!

i know i shouldn't be choosy but the phones are really plasticy, we usually get the more modern BT ones, these seriously looks like kids toy phones when you get them out of the box, if they hadn't written overcharge on the reciept i would have taken them back lol!

actually i did get two sets, parents already have one and may see if i can exchange the other in another store for better ones

Loads of James Martin services with OOD SEL at my local, didn't have the cash on me to cover it though :(
Also picked up a Crosse & Blackwell 4kids beef ravioli no SEL but went through at 18p (different from the Heinz tins above) barcode 000354165450.
Got the subtotal of £110.89 down to £58.91 (£31.70 multibuys, and £19.28 in coupons) :):):)
