    Hi Rose, I'm fairly new to all this and have never managed to get a DTD yet. Although to be honest I am a bit scared of CS! It sounds like they are seriously keeping an eye on people if the 1st CS lady went and asked 'lemon face' to come over and see if it was you she had served the day before:eek:. I just dont understand why on earth they would need to do that and make people feel like they are criminals. Good on you for standing your ground though:T

    I am made of tough stuff and won't let these shop assistants get to me. They made up the dtd policy so have to stand by them. Anyway "Lemon Face" ( can't believe I may have started a new name for Tesco staff!) used to live opposite me, although she does not remember me, and when her 2 little boys were about 5 and 6 she decided she did not want to be a wife and mum and walked out and left her hubby to bring them up alone. So she can think what she likes about me. Have courage and just stand your ground.

    Good on ya! The CS staff can think what they want of me but I'm sure they'd rather not be in my position of being a newly single mum of 2 babies because their father has walked out. If they want to call me all the cheapskate names behind my back then fine but I'll do what I need to do to support my kids and help make a new life for myself. At the end of the day, the DTD policy wasn't one I made up, nor should I have to check every single item on my receipt to make sure it's correct so mis-prices & DTD are simply decent compensation for me being diddled so many times!

    Just kidding it's nationwide, Tesco Value Crunchy peanut butter has been reduced to just 18p a jar.
    Value peanut butter definitely 52p in my store gutted I love the stuff lol !!
    I love it too but sadly it's back to full price in my local store.

    You should of heard the excuse I made up as to why I wanted to cancel the transaction and return the basket of 20 of them back to the shelf. :o I wish they had a working price check scanner lolol
  • all denby dinner piece sets, phones and cameras have their yellow labels removed in 2 stores.. Doh !!
    Anyone got any other half price or better DTD's on the go?

    :( Still 18p in mine, which is odd as I'm offshore and prices here are normally more expensive than in the UK.

    Tesco denying they implement geographic pricing is such rubbish, there is a minimum of 4% on everything in my store, loads of items aren't stocked at all and quite frequently the manager 'forgets' that some items are on special and doesn't run the promotions at all. Why these items are falling through the net here and in Scotland, I've no idea but I'm stocking up while I can.

    mugs? :D:D:D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    hmm... worth a look at the single denby pieces then...

    I'll leave it till tomorrow maybe... today I just might grab a phone if it's still there and that's it... :eek:

    I visited another Tesco store last night and they also had some single Denby pieces with OOD SEL including the mugs in Cool Blue. Had to leave them though cause I was distracted by Denby James Martin dinner sets with half price OOD SEL, bought 2 sets and recieved full refund no problems at all..........think it helps me being 7 months pregnant!! xx ;)
  • those of you who enjoy a DTD might want to have a look in the wine aisle today. Hardy's crest and Kumala have halved in price overnight from £10-£11 to £4.99-£5.49 but Tesco.com is showing the price as top whack despite the 'half price' yellow banner, which should mean they are still scanning at full price.

    Free wine?

    By the way....

    I was talking to a member of staff in my store yesterday... and she told me that the wine festival was starting in Tesco on Thursday!!!!! so this might be why youve seen a difference in price today :)
