Hello there, I got dtd on an item last night, not quite as exciting as a phone or an ipod dock but hey. It's a jar of red Thai curry paste (cant remember the brand and not at home at the moment but it was the only red Thai curry paste, in my local anyway). It was marked at 89p and scanned at £1.59 so got £1.40 back. She tried to give me 70p but I asked "isn't it meant to be double?" and she apologised and handed over the £1.40. So end cost was 19p.

    thank you so much.

got 6 jars of curry paste and 2 lemongrass. then realised i was overcharged so went to cs and got DTD (first time;)) offered refund striaight away but said they had been put in wrong place - how when there was a display full of reduced items.

worked it out using her calculatore and asked me to put card in for refund, then i politely said what am i getting is dtd applicable.:D

we love these and so expensive so stocked up whilst reduced.

I thought these only compared prices locally/online, but didn't think you could get one that is linked in to the Tesco pricing system. I could be wrong though.

On 14/7 I bought 2 jars of 'Thai Kitchen' green curry paste which was half price 89p (RTC). Sounds like they accidentally SEL'd the red paste as well without reducing it on the system.
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

OOD SEL SAID USUALLY £139.99 BETTER THAN HALF PRICE £59.99..AT CHECKOUT I WAS CHARGED £129.99. I KEPT QUIET PAID AND THEN WENT TO CS FOR A REFUND. A MANAGER WAS CALLED BECAUSE IT WAS HIGH VALUE. THE MANAGER TOLD THE SA TO DO A REFUND OF OF THE DIFFERENCE OF £70, SO I SAID DO I NOT GET DTD THEN, THE SA TROUT SAID NO NOT ON ITEMS OF THAT VALUE BUT THE MANAGER PIPED UP AND SAID YES THATS OK. SO I WAS REFUNDED £140..
