Just keep remembering it's not ur fault the items don't have the correct SEL it's the incompetence of the staff on those departments!

got lots of the 1p roses and lots of megablocks. also got the 1p kokos the day the glitch on them was announced, none since. i dont look for the glasses and socks and things but i know they had both last week. Nope same here about Hindl3y! They are very good! Although I noticed a wrongly dated SEL today but couldn't be bothered trying my luck! U might have seen earlier I got a electric shaver dtd from Wig! Your right about the trouts! One was chunnering on whilst the manager was sorting me out a refund! If I was the manager I would have sent her away!! Got 7p teabags from wig last week! Nice lad on SS said he was gonna get some too! Also got 50p BBQ from Wig! Not doing too badly!

Well I take my items to either the electrical, clothing, pharmacy or opticians depts (whoever is not busy) and ask them sweetly if they wouldn't mind quickly checking the price as I don't want to queue at a till for just a pricecheck.

I just do my normal shopping then go to the RTC shelf, pick up what I want (nothing ever has a price on it in on the RTC shelf in my store), I put my shopping on the conveyer belt and give the RTC item to the SA and say very politely, "This is on the reduced shelf but it doesn't have a price. Can you please tell me how much it is? Thanks." I have never had anything for 1p but I've had the 25p socks, the £1.25p trunks/socks set so I am very happy.

I saw the post earlier but didnt realise it was you (i dont always look at the names when im doing a catch-up-read). great job on the shaver, will watch out for it . I think I know the muttering trout btw, there is one ALWAYS on the cigarette kiosk that comes and gets involved with all DTD stuff. She normally just puts her 2pence worth in then scuttles off! She did it with the megablocks and was muttering about "im sure you got DTD on them before they went on sale". she was right, but nobody was taking her on! Nosy old trout! Was the manager you got a young blonde boy? I get him a lot and he seems nice. I will look out for you in future I knew I wasn't the only one in that store, because I sometimes see piles of items left of shelves that I know are possible glitches. Off to SouthP tomorrow to take the kids swimming so will be trying there and reporting back
