NEVER leave them by the scanner under ANY circumstances.

If you must dump em, do it in another aisle.

If having the scanner is creating extra work for the staff then do not complain when the next time scanner needs maintenance it is removed altogether!!!!

Why do you think so many scanners are not being fixed or removed altogether?!

Just out of interest, when you get this DTD on an item, do they change the receipt? what happens if you have to return the goods and get refunded, what price is refunded, the price you paid or the lower cost!

Totally agree with midwinter and jumblejack. Help the elves - don't make work for them! Trudge back to the aisle and put your items back. It's good exercise! ;)

This is another of my huge pet hates!! Especially chewing gum and cigarette ends. Grrrrr. And people not cleaning up after their dogs.

I do wonder tho, on the dog thing, how people get away without cleaning up after their horses? It's a lot bigger and messier

Oh and I do take my stuff back to the shelves just so you know. Help the elves :rotfl: I like to try to get a few thousand steps in during my shopping trips:A

Back to topic, I never seem to find any of the technology dtd. Infact I haven't had a dtd in ages! The kids put me off looking

    Hi,
    This is my first DTD!

    Yesterday I bought...
    Russell Hobbs Ceylon 13355 Kettle
    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.211-9269.aspx

Old SEL of £19.99, went through at £39.99! They were going to put £20 back on my card, but then I mentioned DTD! The sa said that because there was a label on the botton shelve saying the right price that I wasn't entitled to it, but he called his manager anyway. After a lot of faffing about i got £40 back! Yay!

I also tried with a toaster...
Russell Hobbs Heritage Stainless Steel 2 Slice Toaster
    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-0628.aspx

This also had and old SEL but went through at the lower price so that's going back today!

Does anyone think it's worth keeping an eye for the toaster though, are they likely to change it back to the higher price soon?
