Today I noticed what I think must be an SEL error in one of my local stores:

Mcvitie Go Ahead Yogurt Breaks Tropical 6Pk - £1.14 + BOGOF

    956%5C5000168121956%5CIDShot_225x225.jpg

All other varieties were labelled £2.39 and BOGOF.

I checked and the Tropical variety was £2.39 and BOGOF in both other stores I went in and is also £2.39 and BOGOF online.

So the £1.14 and BOGOF label should mean free packs and a small profit.

This may be a one off, but it's got to be worth checking on these bars in your local store.

** 2/7/11 Edit. I went in the store and bought these today and they actually went through at £1.14 and BOGOF. The best before date on the boxes is Feb 2012, so they're not exactly short dated.

Yeah, I got dtd, the SA was so nice about it, and I even got a 'well done' from the checkout manager.

The SA had to phone to the duty manager to approve it, he came down and eyeballed the SEL before half nodding and walking off hastily - probably to check the shelf and remove any others!

Just be careful with buying big amount like this. I have been refused by a store, 2 customer service managers, 3 representitives from the CEO office - basically everyone. I've had to give up.

I bought 15 items. I've taken them back for a refund.

Just be warned it's not guaranteed. Their excuse? I knew what I was doing. You cleary did too.

    But WD!
