Do staff at tesco HO not check if the offers are set up correctly, its common sense is it not and it would stop any errors like the beer/cider offer that happened the other day

I think whoever works in their IT department has a major grudge!! Never have there been so many glitches in such a short space of time. The thing is as well, it's not like these glitches will encourage people to buy other stuff (like some kind of secret loss leader we know nothing about) as the beer proved, you have to get in, get your glitch and get out again.

So we've had beer, knives and womens clothes in recent weeks. Please can we have electricals next???

My OH is getting so into it now, that the other day he desperately wanted to try and use the instore selfscanner to check the price of a tv, In his words "Just in case it's going through for £80":rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: as that was supposed to be the saving!!!
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

and it was a 42" one. It still makes me laugh the vision of him trying to discreetly haul it over the self scanner:)

This happened on Wednesday to several shoppers in my local tesco, £500 sony TV's were scanning at £50, a few got away with it, then they spotted it and had to stop selling all TV's till it was sorted - I was gutted. But well pleased for those who bagged one. So your OH is being very sensible.

Well price changeover day is a wednesday and I think these particular TV's had just come on offer on wednesday, not sure of their original price, so maybe that is the key, tell him to keep an eye on prices, then if on a wednesday he notices one has a new yellow SEL saying save £50, get him to scan that TV.
