Open University - NUS card

I've just seen this - I have a NUS card and wouldn't be without it! I save money every time I go to the cinema (I can get in at my local for £3.50!) so the card pays for itself very quickly. Plus there are discounts at Amazon, Top Shop etc. I know some places will accept the free OU union card but not all, in the end it was better to just get the NUS one.

I got a special deal where a 3 year card was £25, so even more money saving there :-)

I've found that most places will accept your regular student card...I've been told it's only valid with an NUS card, but mine has the NUS logo on the back, which has worked on a couple of occasions!

I have bought my cricket season ticket with it, saving £100.

Also, I get free union membership in my chosen field etc as a student.

i got the three year one too - £25 for three years. i'm in my first year of the NUS card and am pretty sure that I've already covered the cost of it in lunch discounts, vouchers and other stuff that insists on an NUS card. always get strange looks tho - 36 year old bloke in a suit getting their 20% of a sandwich! i'm not proud though!
