I'm beginning to wonder if this is a java-related problem.

    Try this ...

    1. Click Start, click Run, type the following command in the Run dialog box, and then click OK:

    regsvr32 urlmon.dll

    2. Repeat step 1 for each of the following commands:

    regsvr32 mshtml.dll
    regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
    regsvr32 browseui.dll
    regsvr32 msjava.dll

Now see what happens. Do the links in OE now work?

Thanks PChelpman, I havn't tried your advice yet, I think it maybe fixed, I am trying to work out what I did, I had some sort of box I think from Mcafee and it said pop up blocker and I disabled it, tried the links and they now work. :T
I just can't find the box to recheck what I did. will report back when I work it out.

    Thanks for all the advice.

After a long time looking for what I did I just gave up, Now just by chance
I have found it. I wanted to report back incase it will help someone else in the future.

It was definitely McAfee, I accidentally done a right click and the first entry was McAfee popup blocker, Enable pop up blocker was unticked (this is what I must have done the first time round) I reticked It and tried the emails, again the links didn't work. So I have I have unticked it again.(links now OK again).

Sorry if I have made this sound confusing. (or If it is just common sense to all who know) I just wanted to say what the problem was incase someone like me is in the same boat.

    Thanks
