I bet I'm the one the hench man comes a knocking. I am going to find it hard not to write just one letter because I would certainly have taken a ticket had I read the "blue bit" the print must have been much smaller because I could see the "one hour free" bit without my specs quite clearly.I will try and hold out LeeSouthEast, but it will be hard........I have'nt even got the wretched "charge certificate" yet.....I don't need this!

Think of it this way - you have done absolutely nothing wrong. You parked less than hour, you used a shop in the retail park and when parking you did a quick check of any restrictons and found none.

In the very unlikely event of this appearing before a judge you would win hands down since it is obvious that the bit below the blue strip is deliberately small to trap people. Other shops in the retail park would probably confirm they have had other complaints.

If you want to be pro-active, write to Aldi outlining what happened and saying you will be voting with your feet and shopping elsewhere.
They will no doubt reply saying it is nothing to do with them as they don't own the retail park, to which you should reply that is their problem, not yours.

Just a quick update as there seem to be a few posters concerned about PCN's received from this mob.

Nothing has occured, 'further action' is not forthcoming.

Ignore all contact from them and relax.
