"there's a 10% off code plus 8% back through quidco."

I might buy that myself. How do I go about getting the code and quidco cashback? (I have joined quidco but its all new to me :p)

    Hey Rik.
Would your interest be affected by the fact this laptop is only running Home Basic? I really want at least Home Premium. Is it a problem/big expense to upgrade do you know?:o

    Re: Outlook 2000 under Vista:

You'll probably have problems, as many people report that it's not compatible:

    http://outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm

There are also a few people reporting ways of fixing the problems, so it might be possible to make it work - but no guarantee that some future Windows update won't break it again.

If you don't need the corporate features of Outlook (i.e. you only want it for internet-based mail, not Exchange server) then Mozilla Thunderbird (plus Lightning calendar plugin) is actually quite good, with similar features to Outlook 2000.
Thanks fwor, that's exactly what I wanted to know.:D

What's the difference? I have Home Premium (just checked) - what would Mum be missing out on if she got Basic?
    Cheers!
