0.9% Intro bonus has been removed and rate now 4.25% on the account, down from its 5.15%!

Thanks Grumbler - saw the new rate and swore a bit until I read the "previous rates" page. I assume the bonus is still being applied, but I might ring A&L just to confirm it...

What I don't understand is why don't they just change the name of the new issue to Issue 3 and change the rate accordingly?
That way you would have crystal clear distinction among different users, and not two different users on the same saving issue ganing different interests!!!!
I assume the fixed 0.90% bonus interest must be given to existing customers to 31/03/07, but it is not clear on top of which base interest!0 -
