mobile phones with great free gifts

Options
If you go to, tescocontractmobilephones.com there are some great deals.
For example i recieved a contract phone which is 48.00 a month, i get 1800 free mins each month plus unlimited free texts , plus the free gift which is a 42" plasma. The provider is with orange who so far seem to be really good. There are loads of other free gifts which i havent managed to find with any other mobile company so its well worth doing.:j

The problem with these sorts of deals is that the price of the contract is inevitably inflated to take into account the 'free' gift. So you have to be careful with them. Often you'll make very little saving on the item you're getting 'free' in reality.

It doesn't always seem to be the case these days, I have noticed many contracts around the 30/month mark offering a wii/ps3/xbox etc some deals exactly the same as ones without any gift.

Yes, but the difference will be with the phone that is offered free with the contract. For example, a £30 per month contract that offers a Sony Ericsson C905 for free is actually better value than the same £30 contract offering a basic Nokia and Nintendo Wii for free, because the C905 will be worth more than the Wii and Nokia phone combined. That's what people don't realise, and they forget that actually the free gift, even when it is a games consoles, is probably worth less than the top end phone they could get otherwise.

Crazy Jamie: Maybe people are satisfied with lower end phones or with the phones they are presently using and decided to go for the gifts or money they need?
