I have booked one for my mum for mothers day so I can go free- Excellent !! you get entry into the gym and pool, jaccuzzi, steam and then we are gonna go into the restaurant there too cos the food is lovely- been there before - yum yum
  • Major thanks to snowyowl, was really lost what to get mum this year - feel that this is a fab idea as mum had 6 children , was present at the births of my sister 's and my children and was a midwife! My children are taunting me with promises of choccies that THEY will eat as I've given up choc for Lent (what a loser). To be honest they make cards in school/at Brownies & Guides - bring me my Breakky in bed & we snuggle which has to be the best present, it also gives their dad a breather who would otherwise rush around & a buy something inappropriate!

What a great idea...but why does the website for Maternity Worldwide have a link to speed dating on it?

I looked and looked but couldn't find the link to speed dating anywhere on the Maternity Worldwide site...but I do know that they have raised quite a lot of money through speed dating events, so as zar suggested it's fundraising:T.
  • A site I've been using for the odd birthday and wedding pressie. May also have something for mothers day?

Anyone can click onto a website and order posh flowers, yet often it’s the free things that Mums really treasure: breakfast in bed, cute homemade cards, a day without the kids fighting.

Mother's Day's coming up on the March 26th so I want to create a database of the sweetest, most thoughtful pressie ideas. And, Mums, why don’t you post below to let MoneySaving husbands and kids know what you really want.

To share your ideas click reply and enter your ideas. Please put:

Name of gift: From Maternity Worldwide, a Certificate of Sponsorship of a safe birth (ie save a mum's life)
    Buy or make: buy
Total cost: £15.00 (minimum...share with a sibling if too much??)
Details: This charity will send a certificate direct to your mum in your name. The £15 is enough to ensure that a woman in a developing country will survive her pregnancy and survive giving birth. (And if the mother survives then more than likely the baby will too)

    For details:

    http://www.justgiving.com/process/whitelabel/?_WhiteLabelId=1062

Is it possible to print off a certificate to be able to give tomorrow?

    Thanks
    Emma
