I apologise in full and final settlement of the above matter! After reading several more articles, and confusing myself even more, you are correct. You must have paid the full amount for an item, but the CC is liable for the whole debt if you paid over £100 to them as part-payment/deposit.
Sayzie, you will only get the deposit that you paid for your suite from your CC. If you paid the deposit by CC and the rest in cash or debit card, you can claim the whole amount from the CC.

The above doesnt qualify you to be a politician. In order to be an MP, you need to answer questions that havnt been asked.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
