Read all the massages about this CSA (well), The CSA they are rubbish.
My husband left me with two children and was paying his way monthly payments which was great for 6 months and then stopped, I contact the CSA last year June and they worked fast contacting him and his employer.
Story stops there, CSA cannot find his employer and he has lied and withholding truth. We have large mortgage which he just about paying and the school fees. But he can afford Caribbean holidays and pay his debts, sending expense gifts for the children which is no help when you got to clothe and feed children.

CSA have contacted the Inland Revenue for his tax records to find the Employer and the Inland Revenue have no records of employment or tax calculations for other years.
I know he is working and I know he is not declaring his taxes as he is self employed.
I have contacted the Inland Revenue if they could help but no joy just gives the helpline to CSA.
Need help

The only next step is report him for Tax fraud,

Has the CSA got his national insurance number or do you?

I'm confused. Did he work for an employer and now gone self employed?

Are you in the process of getting divorced? Did you both fill in Form E?

Yes we are getting divorce and His E form well was a joke. He only declared what he thinks the courts should know. Missing information and employment details.
He was self employed when he left the FMH but told the CSA and Court that he was employed and now made redundant. And still waiting for his P60 and P45 which has been more than 6 months ago, The story just go's on.

Personally, I'd find the funds to hire a PI to find out where he is working.....it sounds like you have the children in an independent school? They won't wait long for their money and pretty soon they're going to want money for next year as well.

If he is funding their schooling and paying fht mortgage then to be honest he is doing his bit isn't he? ARe you paying half of these costs? If not, then surely you would see that he is maintaining the children as it frees up your money to provide other things that they need.

    Only the lawyers win.

What is the Judge's attitude about his Form E etc?

You may have to think carefully before going via the CSA wen1 - under CSA, your ex is under no obligation to pay the mortgage and on the variation form that I had to complete was a section for NRP to apply for a variation ie reduction of liability if school fees are paid.

It may be that he is paying you more with those benefits in kind than if he paid you 20% of net income (less if he has the children at all, or has responsibility for other children).

Also, if you decide he is paying less than you would get via CSA then he would be entitled to stop paying for the mortgage and possibly the school fees (I don't know the position on those) as the CSA hand all responsibility for spending the prescribed amount to you but in return the NRP is not liable for further costs.
