LG Renoir or Samsung Toco ultra?

I have been talking to O2 about my contract renewal and have negotiated a deal of 600 minutes, 1000 texts and unlimited O2 - O2 for £20 a month with either of the above phones (18 month contract). I liked the look of the Renoir better but don't really know which one to choose. Can anyone advise?

I just got the lg cookie delivered today - cheap and chirpy.

The Lg renoir looks similar to the cookie and I think its more recent.

First impressions suggest the cookie is good - so my money would be on the lg renoir rather than the samsung.

Thanks! I think I like the look or the Renoir better so think I will go for it - it comes with a free 8gb SD card too so that is a bonus.

As a user of the original Tocco, I say go for the Samsung. The LG firmware is horrid, Samsung's TouchWiz is much better.

I'm looking at renewing my contract with 02 so will hopefully get a new phone - on your contract of £20 per month - how much are they charging you for the Renoir?

I'd ask for the Nokia 5800 if I was you... Top top phone.

toally agree with the nokia, had 3 samsungs and did love them all but changed to the 5800 and hubby has the tocco ultra at the same time. we both agree nokia is fab and hubby trying to change his tocco as very weird to use!!

I'm normally a fan of samsungs and touchscreens but found the tocco ultra really clumsy. The touchscreen drove me mad! I sold it on ebay the day after i upgraded and bought an unlocked iphone instead.

I've also go an LG viewty and find their touchscreen much better.
