Sell Your Gold!!

Options
I decided to sell some of my old gold - you know, the sort of thing that many of us have lying around - broken chains etc. I looked for the best price on Google and came up with http://www.cashforyourgold.co.uk/.

I looked at the many testimonials but was still very wary. Anyway i decided to bite the bullet, and sent my gold yesterday morning. I had a phonecall from them this morning, agreed the price, and the money is now in my account. So - best price - friendly service - money in my account within 24 hours.
I can highly recommend this site, and now have enough money to pay for bankruptcy if i need to. Wooo hooo!!

  • My in laws recently took a load of their old gold chains etc etc to a place in Birmingham and sold a load of it and were quite surprised at how much they got for it all! Pretty much paid for a 2 week holiday! :)

Just posted similar on another thread. We have now used a company called 'We Buy Old Gold' 4 times. I received £280 and my mum has just received under 2k for her bits.
A jewellers in town priced mine up at £50.
Best of all they even send you a free post special delivery envelope.
Company is based in Scotland. A lovely man called John calls you with your quote, and again money in account within 24 hours. Was very simple to do, and forms you fill in are to prevent stolen goods.

You can also earn refer a friend cash if you get others on to it. All in all a suprising good service and very happy.

How much more obvious can you make it that you are connected to the company you mention ? :rotfl:

I really want to do this but all I need to verify that what I have is worth selling - any ideas how I can do this on the cheap?? also think one of the necklaces is quite valuable its 3 colour gold with matching bracelet. Where do I go to ensure I don't get ripped off?? Any help appreciated.

These sites are not really interested in what the items are - they just value by weight. I assume its sold on and melted down. If you have really good items you should maybe get them valued properly. I need to do that as well for a couple of my items, but not sure where to go, so will be interested if anyone else can offer advice.

i've been trying to find an independant review of this site - as you say its the best price around, but was wary of doing it over the internet.

i think i will go for it!

I visited this company in person last Friday, as they're based literally 5 minutes away from where I live. I called to make an appointment, spoke to a lovely guy on the phone who gave me exact directions, so off I went. The business premises are modern and clean, the staff are all very friendly and the money was in my bank account before I even got home. Excellent service from start to finish and it got me out of a hole to say the least! Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Jackjo that is a very bad attempt at spamming the gold shop you obviously work for.
