any advice please with this vodafone nightmare

Hi,

I upgraded my vodafone contract about 6 weeks ago, I was promised a new phone with 600 mins, ulimited txt and ulimited internet. All for £25 a monht. My bill will never be over 25 i was told.

The phone came, and so i used it with the above in mind.

The first problem is the signal, the signal is atrocious, i cant get a signal in my house, and on the odd occasion i do it cuts out during a call. This has just happneed whilst on the phone to vodafone customer services after being on hold for 20 mines beforehand. Its litrally driving me insane. Signal wasnt as bad previously, it just seems to have been the last few months (i did ntoice it on my old phone and assuemd it was a blip).

And then 2nd problem.... Today i have recieved a bill which is charging me for 3g broadband (which i dont have). And then is charging me £30 for the 600 mins and txts, and there is no internet on the bill, so i have been charged a firther 8 pounds odd for pages i have browsed.

Like i said, during a call to customer services the phone cut out on me, and i do not have the time to sit and wait another 20 mins on hold before actually getting through to someone and then spend ages going through the details yet again.

Grrrr, im going bloody nuts here. Any advice? I feel like ive been tricked into agreeing this upgrade and now im trapped with a !!!! service, !!!! customer service and being charged more than i was told.
Waddle you do eh?

You mat have a phone that is a bit 'deaf' - not all handsets are the same, with some more sensitive than others. If you are in a borderline location at home, a sensitive phone makes all the difference.

You won't be able to get out of your contract, but it may be better to say that the phone seems out of spec - as you have reception problems not apparent with your old phone. They may well swap it for you.

Incidentally, nobody in their right mind would tell you your bill would 'never be over' any particular amount. It's the only thing they DON'T control!

I think what they meant at the time was that as long as i didnt go over my allcoated mins and txts, it wouldnt be over £25. Im really !!!!ed at this, the free unlimited internet was the dealbreaker for me.
