please help! took up martins suggestion and booked to have sky installed on 29th april,they came at the alloted time and date to install sky and gave us 3 dates to install landline. Inspite of 13 calls from my mobile, we are atill waiting. We only took up the offer of multi room to enable us to get 'free installation', its now impossible to get in touch with sky, what do I do?

Why not cancel the Sky landline installation and go for the BT version?

It would be the same people (Openreach) doing the installation anyway.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
