some people are sooo cheeky

Hi all
I had to laugh and yes swear yesturday
I sold a bundle of clothes about 4 weeks ago now on ebay. the bundle went for nearly £7 plus £3.50 for the P&P. The lady that won it left me excellent feed back 3 days later plus an email to say how grateful she was for the listing and said how cute an item was with this kitten on the front of a top!!!!!!
yeastaday I went into ebay to leave some feedback for something i bought and to do some postage and theres and email from the lady asking if i still have the proof of postage for the bundle she bought from me as shes never received it and would like to claim for the lost items
I emailed her back to say she must of received it as she'd left me FB and sent me an email to say thank you, I forward the email to her that she sent.
Shes now claiming that she left FB to the wrong person and sent to email to the wrong seller!!!
some people will try it on:rolleyes:
Is there any thing paypal can do?
I'm all ways having malteser moments thats me

did you send it recorded? if so check the status
if not, and she files an item not received via paypal, she'll win and you'll be forced to refund her

I posted it 1st class through paypal I have the print out from when you do the post from paypal plus its stamped !!!!
Just wondering if shes done this sort of thing before cos it took her a week to pay up,
But why send an email to let me know how cute an item was and was grateful that i'd said there was a mark on a pair of trousers!!!!
    It just doesn't add up

You could play detective and have a look at her other recent purchases and see if there's anything else that she's bought that could possibly be mistaken for yours (ie a genuine contacting wrong seller) and when/ if there isn't then you can pull her up on it - "looking through your other recent purchases I see you bought a DVD, cricket bat and set of kitchen sales so I am not sure how you can confuse sellers" kind of thing...

What would happen if you just removed the listing from your 'my ebay'?

Ive had a snoop at what shes left feed back for that shes bought
    There not much really

My bundle of 2-3 year girls clothes
    a ladies skirt
    a ladies pair of jeans
    2 x private listing

FB left for her that shes bought
    2-3 yr tights
    6-9 months boys bundle
    some toys
    pair of ladies shoes
My bundle of 2-3 year girls clothes

    1x private listing

One of the FB comments that she left said

The print out would not be sufficient as you need proof of delivery. There may be proof of postage but you need proof it got delivered hence recorded delivery.

End of the day if she makes a claim you chances are very slim. You will be given a chance to say something when paypal contact so id say mention that they left positive feedback and sent an e-mail to confirm receipt and you can send this if they require.

Paypal policy is that you need proof of delivery.

Goofbay her, as I guess she wouldn't have left feedback for the other seller if it was a genuine mix up.

I guess it won't do much good though :o
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

Or, is she after the proof of postage so that she can put in a fraudulent claim with RM?

I know that the seller should put in the claim but some sellers do try to say that they will help with any lost postage by sending the POP to the buyer - maybe she wants to do that?

    Just a thought.
