Any recommendations for saving on line rental, no cashback schemes?

Looking for a new mobile and hoping to avoid anything to do with
cashback.
I see that orange.co.uk are doing a very nice 6 months 1/2 price deal
on 12 month contracts, including getting an N70 for free. This seems
pretty excellent!
Unfortunately I can't get Orange at work - at all. Vodafone are doing
a 6months half-price on 18month contracts in store, but that's all the
competition I can find.
Anyone know any other carriers who are doing half price deals?
