to add to my previous post, due to the fact i've bought an Epson sx200 i contacted inkpower on the amount of ink contained within their compatibles for that model and have been told in a reply that it is 12ml, so thats 12ml per cartridge not the 18.3ml that i thought, which suprised me considering the last compatibles i bought from them said 19ml on the box, but i was correct about the price for the number, and if the ink is the same quality as the 19ml then they'll be good replacements.

So i ebay'ed again and found a supplier who does do the 18ml compatibles for them. Inkshop24, http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/inkshop24_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZ
still the same quantity of 12 cartriges but with 18ml in each but for a higher price of £17.49 but that does include the p&p aswell, quality unknown.
the 18ml is slightly cheaper than the 12ml, but i know the quality of the 12ml, so i'm in a bit of a tis now.
    and finally a 3rd option
4 x Refillable Empty Compatible Cartridges with Latest ARC "Auto Reset Chips"
4 x pcs syringes ( one for each color )
4 x pcs needle ( one for each color )
4 x 100ml High quality dye based ink per color (Total 400ml)
    1 x Complete color installation instructions CD-ROM
    cost approx £30,
the auto reset chip allows the same cartridges to be used over and over again.
http://stores.ebay.com/D-Y-G-U-K if you put 18ml in each cartridge you would use 100ml in 5 fills with 10ml left over, so this option would be 20 ish cartridges for £30
so i'll leave it upto you which ones to buy.

Another option is to get a program called Inksaver 2.3 you can save 25%-75% ink running it, works will all printers. i had it on 30% with my epson dx4800 and you couldnt tell you where saving any ink at all. also installed the program on my neighbours computer, and did a test on her, i printer out 2 copies of the same picture 1 0% and 1 x30% and asked her which picture was better, she choose the 30% saving as the better picture, she was using a HP.

Go back to ebay and type SX200 CISS

Its what I have used on a few printers and the value they offer is amazing.

Thanks percy1983 i did as you suggested and found the same kit i mentioned above for £10 less. the difference between the CISS kit your talking about and the kit i'm talking about, you CISS kit you have external ink tanks which you refill with a cable to the inside of the pc, the CISS kit i'm talking about the ink cartridges are refilled so you dont have to worry about the external ink tanks falling over, if its put onto say a table.

    They have both systems.

Thought I better check the cost of the ink refills as well, 4x500ml for £27

As you say there are the samething, I prefer a CISS as all you have to do is keep the tanks topped up, witht he other you need to take them out and refill but as you say there is no tanks which could be an advantage.

I have never managed to knock mine over but there is several factors in desk arrangement etc which may be a problem to you.

As it is I do a lot of printing and its a 6 colour printer so taking all 6 out etc would just be a pain.

Secondly I would recommend a waste ink tank as this is what killed my first printer with a CISS, basically the more you print the more you will clean the heads, the more you clean the heads the more waste ink you have. as it is printers have an internal tank but if you do a lot of printing this will eventually fill up. Basically adding an external tank will stop this happening. As it is the printer will have a counter ans stop working after so many printers due to this, if you have an external tank you can just reset the counter and carry on. They are harder to fit, I drilled a small hole in my printer to get the tube out.

But don't worry for most people they never see this problem, must thought its worth a mention as using Refill kits/CISS usually indicates a higher level of printing.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask, as my printer is fully plugged up and I have done this to a few printers now for friends etc.

OK, yes mine is a 115C, but any similar Brother Printer/Scanner is more or less the same.

I get my cartridges from Choice Stationery, excellent service.
