Sky Sports Question

Assuming one already has Sky TV (barebones package) for £17/month (or whatever it is):

1) Can I subscribe to sky sports on a pay monthly basis?

2) If I were to stop using sky and get freesat, can I still subscribe to sky on a monthly basis by getting a card which goes into the back of the freesat receiver box?

1) You can add and cancel sports on a monthly basis.

2) Freesat is a BBC/ITV venture and your SKY card won't work in it.
FreesatfromSky is where you watch the free channels on your unsubscribed SKY box.
You can't subscribe/unsubscribe to the basic SKY package on a monthly basis.

Are you saying that no freesat boxes will have an option to put in a card to view sky sports that can be subscribed to a monthly basis?

None do at present- remember also that you can't just subscribe to Sky Sports, you have to have at least one mix as well.
