20p on the scratchcards this morn

Have a family get together today, was meant to be a BBQ for my Nan & Grandad's 57th wedding anniversary (You'd get less for murder :rotfl:) but as the weather isn't great it's now in a hall and we're having a buffet. I'm making potato salad and tuna pasta & sweetcorn salad. Only thing is I can't remember if I have to cook the sweetcorn before adding it???
I spent £17 on food yest, which wasn't too bad, had leftover chilli for tea last night with a jacket spud so all good really.
Hope you all have a good w/end xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Expensive w/end this one, OH's b/day 2moro, still got to get him a pressie, and our niece's b/day party 2moro too, so another pressie needed.... hmmmm will raid pressie box for niece but not sure OH would appreciate a Bratz mermaid doll???or would he?? :rotfl:
Off to OH's brothers tonight for OH's birthday meal, least I don't have to cook or pay for a meal.
Have done 5 loads of washing this morning, mopped kitchen/bathroom floors and also communal hallways as they were disgusting!!

Had a NSD today
DD wants to go see the new Hannah Montana movie, priced it up tonight and it would cost £15!!! Will see if she mentions it 2moro morning.
Busy w/end ahead, staying a friends 2moro night with the kids as our respective OH's are out, mine out with his friends and hers on a golf w/end. Takeaway, wine, and plenty of girlie goss! Sun we're meant to be going to a BBQ for OH's sister's birthday but forecast isn't looking good."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Hi tigzem - I make my kids contribute (and save up for) any cinema trips.... not sure if that helps. My DD is 6 and loves Bratz dolls - I find supermarkets and poundstretchers offer the best deals...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Tis a good idea, DD is only 3, 4 end of Aug. Its the 1st time she's asked to go to see a movie, where they learn it from I don't know!! I may wait til it comes out on the kids club, adults go free then.
I like Bratz dolls too
