I'm in process of splitting my whole YBS ISA between two fixed rate ISA's. I see that money has already been deducted from my YBS ISA (on 29 April) and is to transfer to Halifax. I have also had postal confirmation that YBS have carried out their part. From that date (29 April) when can I expect, from people's experience, the money to be credited to my new Halifax ISA? And how much (how many days) interest will I lose. I'm transferring for only another 0.75% (on £18,000).

I have a form away to Lloyds to transfer the rest to their FR ISA, which they will have received on friday 1 May. Same question really.

I transferred into Halifax from A&L. Posted request form to Halifax on 9 April, had confirmation from A&L dated 20th that they'd sent on the funds and they appeared in Halifax account on 29th, but backdated as credit on 22nd.

its taking an age getting my funds from YBS to HBOS this year.

    about 6 weeks so far.

It's interesting that when Mr K transferred from Egg to YBS it took 1 week between accounts.

Looks like YBS are quick to get the money in and slow to send it out...perhaps they have cashflow problems:rolleyes:

i actually called YBS and they stateed they were up to date and on top of all transfers - in and out.

HBOS on the other hand, while they had my ISA transfer, hadnt sent it to YBS as of my 6 weeks in.

when i challenged this, the woman on the phone meerly said "it'll all happen in good time", "its not our fault we havent sent it through" and "actually we lost the transfer and there is no record of you having completed the form"
