O2 'My Spain' option: opinions

Hello,

GLW and I are travelling to Spain soon. We are both with O2 and I've noticed that they have a 'My Spain' tariff. Has anyone here used this and is it worth it?

There may be the odd phone call home but most of our usage would be to each other and to friends who are with us.

Never heard of 'My Spain' and I work for them. Is that a PAYG option?

Very good add on, used it loads of times and saved a fortune. Txts come out of allowances (4 = 1 international txt) and you don't pay to receive up to 1000 mins.

spainsim. com is a good site for info re keeping in contact with your friends over there - local payg is by and far the cheapest option if you plan to be there for any length of time. I'd source sims locally when you get there. Some plans alow free calls between a group like Vodafone family.
