Just seen my first Biggest Looser & it was very very omotional.

Have you never seen any of them before Beanie....non of the american ones I mean...The UK one seemed a bit wooden in comparison...and did I hear right, the prize money is £10,000 - I am sure it was £70,000 last time they did it and in the USA it is $100,000.

Money isn't everything though and I agree it was v v emotional.

My sister wanted to apply for it but I needed to put on a stone to get onto the show! I was happy to oblige at the time but not now I have lost the weight. I wish my sister could lose weight but she really struggles especially with her disability....

sammy - you think nothing of driving from one end of the country to the other in a day... which is first race or meet, i can see how meet first would be a problem....

<maz goes off ot read back>

noted, race is day after, so wouldn't work.... although it is possible to go to a meet and not drink much... i.e. me at Manchester!

If the meet had been the day after I would have driven cross country absolutely no problem.

I am not sure I can do it the other way round...a) I couldn't have a drink and b) would have to get up at stupid o clock to drive to nottingham....and I know I am up at stupid o clock most mornings but I am not sure I could do it....

The date of the meet could possibly be changed, there were a couple of dates that were suitable for a few people. And there's no point holding it if several people will be missing.

Skinty - I think "Shrek" was a reference to Snaggs twunty ex, that's she's been having problems with

Correct :) and weirdly, on Saturday, he was asleep next to me and I looked at him (and bear in mind that at this point I was still head over heels for him) and thought 'Yeah, he does resemble Shrek a little bit'! :rotfl:
