    Don't forget First Crappy Connect trains run through the Thameslink tunnels and will take you right to the heart of the city, albeit slowly and unreliably. If you're staying anywhere near St Pauls or Farringdon then it's by far the cheaper option because you don't need to get an underground ticket.
