O2 online - best way to organise number port?

I'm just about to order from O2 online and have my PAC from orange. Can anyone tell me the correct procedure for porting to O2 online?

It depends! There are two ways:-

1. You can give them your orange number and PAC code right there and then when you order if they'll accept it. I'm not sure if o2 online will accept it like that though.

2. Wait until you have your o2 online number and ring customer services and say you want to transfer your orange number to them and provide them with your PAC code.

I used the online form to request for my number to be ported over to O2. Was really quick - got a same day reply, and within the space of a few hours got a confirmation of when the port will take place (fingers crossed!).

Saves hanging about on the phone!
