Providing you have Windows XP sp2 or Windows Vista you already have an inbound firewall. Furthermore routers act as hardware firewalls.
A good antivirus makes the need for an outbound firewall redundant0 -
I use pctools firewall. I feel a little safer using it as I know if anything DID get onto my computer then my firewall would pop up to tell me so. I also NEED an outbound firewall due to reasons im keeping to myself
If you dont need an outbound then the inbuilt windows one is fine:idea:0 -

By this they mean use Avira AntiVir.0 -
Kas is probably the best virus scanner around, If you had firewall problems, it was probably down to a minor configuration problem.0

Eh Well... I had either ESET, Kaspersky or Bitdefender in mind0 -

Im well aware. Im saying that ESET isnt THAT good as an av anyways and if people buy the suite (Or maybe it IS just a suite?) then the ESET firewall is full of holes:idea:0 -
Ah you all beat me too it, I was going to edit it and put just get the Antivirus though
I too have seen some things on youtube about eset not removing some malware once infected and I've read bitdefenders the same with a pos firewall on it's suite.
They all do a great job of preventing viruses, malware, adware and spyware though.0
